Make the ordinary website work well.
Google's guidance for its AI search features points back to the foundations of Search. Pages need to be eligible for search, useful information needs to be visible and links need to let people and crawlers reach it.
Answer the question before adding more words.
Explain what the service or idea means, who it is for and what it cannot do. Use examples that can be checked. Structured information should describe the content people can actually see.
Know which access setting you are changing.
Search crawling, model training and an authenticated product connection are not the same thing. Review the relevant provider's controls rather than assuming one setting manages every kind of access.
Eligibility is not a promise of inclusion.
A technically correct page may still not be selected for a particular answer. Do not present a checklist result as proof of visibility across all AI systems.
